BAND AT ZOO TOMORROW
The Municipal Band plays at Zoological Park on Sunday afternoon at three o’clock. The programme includes the first performance by the band of Sigismund Romberg’s “The Desert Song,” which contains many very bright numbers, melodious and up-to-date in harmonic devices. Other items are “Les Cloches de Corneville” overture, hymn “The Emperor,” “Marche et Cortage” from “La Reine de Saba,” the popular suite, “The Courts of Granada” (by request), “The Gondoliers” selection, “The Turkish Patrol,” cornet solo “A Shepherd's Morning Song” (soloist, Mr. J. Davies), and other interesting numbers.
