The unusual story of “Moulin Rouge” centres around the star of the famous French dancing show, her daughter and her daughter’s fiance. The young man is fascinated by the elder woman, the role played by Olga Tschechowa, and
Olga Tschechowa even goes to the length of planning an elopement with her. The whole of a genuine Moulin Rouge revue show appears in one part of the story. The supporting programme Is headed by a film entitled “The Mysterious Stranger.”
