“FURTHER INQUIRIES”
REMAND ON VAGRANCY CHARGE “There are further inquiries to be made. I have good reasons tor asking for a remand,” said Sub-Inspector McCarthy when Arthur David Thomas appeared at the Police Court this morning. Thomas, a labourer aged 27, was charged with vagrancy and remanded in custody at the sub-inspector’s request until Tuesday. It is understood that a charge of theft may also be brought against Thomas.
