■Mr. C. G. Macindoe was a passenger Xor Sydney by the Maheno today. Mr. B. A. Lippincott left far the South last evening by the Limited. Dr. Ada Paterson was a passenger from Wellington by the Limited this morning. Mr. <* IT. Chapman. M.P., arrived from Wellington this morning by the Limited. The Mayor of Auckland, Mr. George Kaildon, returned from Wellington this morning by the Limited. Mr. M. IT. Wynyard, chairman of the Auckland Harbour Board, is at present visiting the. South Island. Mr. E. T. Spidey, superintendent of railway workshops, arrived from Wellington by the Limited this morning. Sir Harold Beauchamp is returning to New Zealand by the Re mu era, which is due at Auckland next Friday from London. Mr. and Mrs. George Gould, of Christchurch, are returning to New Zealand by the Remuera, which is due in Auckland next week. Mr. Hugh Mackenzie and Mr. R. T. members of the Auckland Harbour Board, left for Sydney today by the Malicno. Mr. Percy A. Spurdle was admitted as a barrister of the Supreme Court today by Mr. Justice Smith. The motion was moved by M.r. Nutsford. Mr. E. J. Gifford, clerk of court at Tauranga for the past four years, who has been transferred to Wellington, was presented with a travelling rug by friends at the Tauranga Courthouse yesterday. Mr. P. G.
