BUSTERS Half lb flour, one to 2 02 butler, - 2os cheese, half teaspoon baking powder, cayenne and salt to taste. Make into quite a stiff paste with ££ a little milk. Roll out very thinly and cut in strips. Roll each strip as thin as paper. Rake in a moder - 22 ate oven , and butter when cold. g STEAK PASTE | One lb steak or gravy beef, %lb S butter, half teaspoonful of poic - 5 dcred mace, or half nutmeg grated, || or both, half „ teaspoonful salt, one 22 teaspoonful pepper , two table- S spoons anchovy sauce. Cut jstealc H into small pieces or put through S mincer. Put in jar or basin with H all other ingredients and, cover. || Close and stand inside a saucepan 22 with three inches of water and H steam three hours, then lift out and strain gravy off. Put meat p through mincer again and then mix with the gravy. It is then H ready for use. 22 A WINTER PUDDING £ Four 02 shredded suet, (soz bread crumbs, half teacupful treacle, 3oz f our, one teaspoonful baking powler, one teaspoonful ground ginger, 2 02 chopped currants, one gill milk. Mix the dry ingredients thoroughly and stir in the treacle dissolved in the warm milk, adding a very little at a time.
