A SEPTEMBER BULLETIN
STORIES, stories, stories. Long stories, short stories, stories with gentle themes and stories that ring with the clash of warfare. Three await the final decision—“ Recompense,” ‘‘Blue Lupin,” and “The Dancer.” A re-reading places “Recompense” first, with “Blue Lupin” a close second. “The Dancer” breathes his song of gladness at the top of the highly commended list. Fine tales these—the first with its hint of power, the second a richly imaginative study. So polished lias the work of the young Wigwam writers become that the task of selecting the best story or poem grows increasingly difficult. For amateur photographers there is something of interest in today’s page. Look over that album of recent snaps. What has interested you is also likely to interest Redfeather. Or, if you think there is nothing sufficiently good in your collection, take your camera out of doors and look for a subject. And don’t forget the closing date, Chiefs and Braves. REDFEATHER.
