MT ALBERT GRAMMAR STEEPLECHASE A. B. BROWNE WINS Both senior and junior records were broken at the annual steeplechase of over three miles held by the Mount Albert Grammar School yesterday afternoon. Three hundred competitors started. Results: Senior Championship.—A. B. Browne, 1: W. Briggs, 2; C. G. Beale. 3. Time lomin 565, a record. The standing- record was 16min ISsec, established by- G. Browne last year. Junior Championship.—J. ~VV. Coney, 1: R. Luxmoore, 2; W. G. Miller, 3. Time 16min 56sec, a record. The previous record was 17min 25sec, established by W Brig-grs in 1926. Senior Handicap.—C. G. Beale, 1; R S. Strange. 2: H. ID. Ball. 3. Junior Handicap.—R. Luxmoore. 1; L F. Grimmer, 2; J. D. Snow, 3. Form Competition.—Vl. B, 1; 111. A, _ Lower V. A, 3.
