TWIN BABY TRAGEDY

inquest on strangled CHILDREN ONCE AGAIN ADJOURNED A tragedy that is now seven weeks old was recalled this afternoon when an inquest on the death of the Cubis twins was reopened before Mr. F. K. Hunt. S.M., coroner. Dr. Alexander Cumming, of 204 New Xorth Road, said he had been called i'o a house at 25 King Edward Street at 11.50 a.ra. on August 6. There he had seen the bodies of tw'o baby boys lying side by side in bed. They were both dressed. The skin on the neck of each was ruptured and a silk stocking was beside each child. Witness had applied artificial respiration to one child with no results. Artificial respiration had not been applied to the other child as it appeared to have Deen dead for about an hour. In witness’s opinion the cause u £ death was strangulation. The inquest was again adjourned in the absence of important witnesses.
