TWO BRITISH ORGANISERS APPOINTED REPARATION PAYMENTS British Official Wireless RUGBY, Monday. Sir Charles Addis and Mr, W. T. Lay con have been appointed by the governors of the Bank of England to be British members on the Organisation Committee of the Bank for International Settlement of Reparation Payments. Sir Charles is a director of the Bank of England and was .British representative under the Dawes reparation scheme. Mr. Layton is editor of the “Economist” and has been prominently concerned with the financial work of the League of Nations. Recently he went to India as financial adviser to the Sir John Simon Commission.
