FIRE NEAR TAUPIRI From Our Own Correspondent HAMILTON, Monday. The homestead of Mr. Robert Grant, well-known Taupiri settler, on the main South Road between ZSTga.ruawahia and Taupiri, was burned to the ground during last night. The family escaped in their night attire. Many valuable sports trophies, pictures and rare books were destroyed. The house was insured for £7OO and the contents for £ 300.
