EVENING AT TAURANGA Press Association TAURAXGA. Today. The Tauranga South Bowling and Tennis Club held a social evening- recently. when the prizes won last season were presented by the president. Mr. Fergus Boyd. The prize-winners were as follow: Bowlers. —First-year players: G. Peglars; pairs, Messrs. W. Parlane and W. Pilcher: full rink, Messrs. G. Pesters. Dimberlinc, W. J. Baigent and T. McKay. Tennis. —Men's championship, 11. J. Raigent: women's championship, Mrs. Head: men’s handicap singles. R. Renshaw; women’s handicap :i.nglo*, Miss Johnson: handicap doubles, R. Kenshaw and Miss 'Whitworth.
