There were several outstanding features. One was the large number of Birkenhead teams which qualified (S), two of which are still left in with one life. Another was the wonderful play of Mount Albert (J. Bridge and Geo. Clark, skip), whose play for four rounds was well nigh unbeatable. History repeats itself, for in the fifth round Clark got the bve, and seemingly lost the touch, going down to Birkenhead (F. A Anderson and N. Swanson, skip), in Round 6. By virtue of defeating the two-lifer, Swanson, who has the bye, is now in the final, and plays off the winner of Clark and Harkin. The results are as follow: — . Round I.—Birkenhead, C. F.
