CARGO FROM TASMANIA. —The local, office of the Union Company has been advised that the steamer Kaiapoi from Melbourne leaves Devonport, Tasn.an.a, at 11 am. on Tuesday next for Auck- ; land, where she is due on September .0. NEW DREDGE OTAKOU. — The new I dredge for the Otago Harbour . the Otakou. which' is now on her way ! to New Zealand from the Clyde, ip t> ported to have left Colombo on September 10. The vessel is due at Port Chalmers about October 22. IRIS TO SAIL AGAIN. —The Pacific Cable Board's steamer Iris is to sail for Norfolk Island on Tuesday to renew the shore end of the Suva-Norfolk Island cable at Anson Bay. The vessel rei cently repaired the same cable about 4$ miles from the island. AORANGI DUE MONDAY. —The local office of the Union Company advises that the R.M.M.S. Aorangi, due at Auckland early on Monday morning from Sydney, berths about 8.30 a.m. at the Prince s Wharf. At 13 a.m. on Tuesday she ?s scheduled to leave again for Suva, Honolulu, Victoria and Vancouver. WAIKAWA REPORTS. —A radio message received by the local office of the Union Company states that the transpacific cargo steamer Waikawa is expected to arrive at Auckland next l hursday morning from the Pacific Coast ports. After discharge here the vessel proceeds 1 to Wellington, Melbourne and Sydney. TAIROA LEAVES BALBOA.—Cabled news has been received by the Shaw, Savill and Albion Company that the liner Tairoa left Balboa on Tuesdayevening for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin, en route from London. The vessel is due at Auckland on October 10. ROTORUA TO LOAD.—Due at Bluff today from Lyttelton, the New Zealand Shipping Company’s liner Rotorua completes her discharge of London cargo there and later commences loading for her returfi trip. Afterwards she fills up at Port Chalmers, thence Timaru, Lyttelton, Auckland (October S to October 12), and Wellington, and is scheduled to clear the latter port finally on October 19 for Southampton and London, via Panama.
