THAMES CITY CLuIP From Our Own Correspondent THAMES, Friday. The annual report of the City Cricket Club shows that the club had a good playing season last year. The following officers for the new season were elected at last night’s annual meeting: Patron, Air. A. M. Samuel, AI.P.; president. Hr. Arthur Golden; vicepresidents, Messrs. D. Ganley, 11. R. Purnell, W. White. R. L. Harvey, E. O. Brownlee, T. Cucksey. J. H. Ensor, D. Macka.y, J. W. Arbury; secretarytreasurer, Mr. G. Twentyman; field captain, Air. Crawford Watson; vicecaptain, Mr. J. Moran; committee, the captain, vice-captain, club captain, secretary and Mr. J. Hill; delegates to association, Alessrs. J. Hill and L. Crawford Watson. It was decided to ask the association to open the season with a match between City and Kopuarahi for the Crawford Watson Cup. TAUMARUNUI CLUB From Our Own Correspondent TAUMARUNUI, Friday. At the annual meeting of the Taumarunui Cricket Club, the following officers were elected: President, Air. E. Edwards; vicepresidents, Dr. E. Howard and Messrs. R. Craig and F. W. Rutherford; auditor, Air. M. H. Wilks; executive committee. Alessrs. A. E. Al. Kerr, E. Beal, J. J Leadbeater J. Cameron, Ray Winger, J. B. Hostick and the secretary; Selection Committee, Messrs. R. W. Thomas, C. Halliday and A. E. M. Kerr; delegates to the Taumarunui Cricket Association. Alessrs. E. Edwards, W. H. Hughes, R. W. Thomas, A. E. M. Kerr, C. Halliday and G. Rutherford: secretary, Air. G. S. Bruce; treasurer. Mr G. 'Rutherford.
