Christian Endeavour Day will be celebrated at the Beresford Street Congregational Church tomorrow. At 11 a.m. the Rev. Lionel B. Fletcher will preach on “The Adventure of Religion” and at 7 p.m. on “Try, Try, Try Again.” The 77th Sunday School anniversary will be celebrated next Sunday. • * ♦ Canon Fancourt will preach at both services at St. Mary’s Cathedral. In tho morning he will speak on “The Future Life” and in the evening on “Live Dangerously.” # * * The 76th anniversary and patronai festival will be celebrated at St. Matthew's Church. At 11 a.m. the Rev. Charles Chandler will preach and at 3 p.m. a children's flower service will be held. Canon Grant Cowen will preach at 7 p.m. * * * “The Magnificent Monarch of Israel Contrasted with the Majesty of the Messiah,” the concluding address of the session, will be given by Mr. C. J. Rolls at the Unity Hall at 3 p.m. * * * Mr. T. W. Silcock will speak at 11 a.m. at the Auckland Higher Thought Temple and at 7 p.m. Dr. C. B. Share will speak on “What is Religion?” uther meetings will be held during the week. * * * The evangelistic campaign services will be contintied at the Pitt Street Methodist Church. Both services will be conducted by the Rev. YV. Walker and the evening service will be broadcast. * * * The Rev. W. Gilmour will speak at both services at the Edendaie Presbyterian Church. At the Somerveil Presbyterian Church, Remuera, cm Rev. J. Pattison will speak at 11 a.m. and the Rev. P. Wainwright at 7 p.m. The Rev. R. C. Roberts will speak at both services at the Mount Eden Congregational Church, speaking on “The Working Family” at 11 a.m. and “Is the Church Divided?” at 7 p.m. • • • The First Church of Christ, Scientist, will hold services as usual at 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. in the Church Hail, Symonds Street. The subject will be “Matter.” * * • At 7 p.m. in the Zealandia Hall, Dominion Road Terminus, the service of the Community Mission will be addressed by the Rev. George Jackson. Open discussion will follow. “The Three Parables” will be the subject taken at the meeting of the Spiritual Scientists' Church, Mackelvie Street, at 7 p.m. * * * The service at 11 a.m. at the Methodist Central Mission will be conducted by the Rev. L. C Horwood. The Rev. J. G. Hughes will be the speaker at 7 p.m. at the Progressive Church of Spiritualists, Newmarket. The Sunday School anniversary will be celebrated at St. John’s Methodist Church, Ponsonby Road. Services will be held at 11 a.m., 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. Mr. Reuben E. Dowle will speak at 11 a.m. and 7 p.m at the Mount Roskill Congregational Mission. Mr. H. B. Bristow will speak at 11 a.m. at- the Grange Road Baptist Church. At 7 p.m. the Rev. A. S. Wilson will speak. * * / $ Miss Gladys Yerburry will be the speaker at the men’s brotherhood meeting in the Y.M.C.A. at 4.15 p.m. Mr. J. E. A. Gates will speak at the service of the International Bible Students’ Association in the Masonic Hall at 6.45 p.m.
