DUNCAN THE STYLIST

A. D. S. Duncan is considered to be the most perfect stylist in golf circles in the Dominion, and his methods are being used to educate the younger players. The New Zealand Golf Council has secured some slow motion pictures of Duncan in action, as well as some of R. C. Butters, the Miramar Professional, together with similar

pictures of the Scotsman, Archie Compston, and the Americans. Bobby Jones and Walter Hagen. These are being screened in connection with a series of lectures, the slow motion pictures being used to explain the fundamentals

of the game and also to show by a comparison of styles the excellence of New Zealand's leading amateur when considered alongside the worlds acknowledged best players.
