PRESIDENT ENTERTAINS CROQUET CLUB MEMBERS
ONEHUNGA CARD AFTERNOON A pleasant bridge afternoon was spent yesterday by the members of the Onchunga Croquet Club at the home of Mrs. R. Buchanan, Quadrant I to ad. Mrs. Buchanan, who is president of the Onehunga Bowling Club, received her guests in a frock of black Chantilly lace over apricot chiffon. The lounge and dining-room were charmingly decorated with spring flowers, and here the tables had been arranged. A novel and pleasing idea was that of presenting each guest with a posy of violets or primroses on leaving. Prizes were awarded for both bridge and live hundred, the former being won by Mrs. 11. Bray and Mrs. J. Macklow, and the latter by Mrs. Ira Sutherland and Mrs. A Brown. An interval was made for afternoon tea. Among the guests were: Mrs. J. Macklow, Mrs. C. Foote, Mrs. D.
