DEATH IN BOWLING CLUB
MEMBER’S SUDDEN COLLAPsw Press Association GISBORNE, Thursday. Tragedy attended a meeting of ths Gisborne Bowling Club this evening when a prominent member, Mr. Sam* uel Joseph Henry Monerieff, aged <-♦ a retired civil servant, collapsed and | died almost immediately. Mr. Monerieff had just submitted 3* : amendment to a motion regarding j laying out of the green, and Dad out* lined his own plan, when he sat down suddenly, and death occurred within a few* minutes. He was highly teemed in bowling circles and i treasurer of the club. He leaves widow’ and two daughters.
