TALKIE PROGRAMMES The double-feature talkie programme “O'* at the Empress Theatre “I screened for the last time this evening. This includes ’‘Leatherneck,” a drama of three soldiers in China, starring \\ illiam Loyd, and "Geraldine,” an amusing tale of love and society, starring Marion Nixon. From tomorrow another doublefeature talkie bill will be presented which will include tire all-talking mystery drama. “Strange Cargo.” a tale of murder on the high seas, and “The Office Scandal,” a melodramatic story of newspaper life, starring Phvilis Haver and Raymond Hatton.
