King George has made such excellent progress toward complete recovery that preparations are being made for a day’s shooting for him at Sandringham provided that the weather continues to remain fair. Shooting and yachting are the King’s favourite pastimes. Last year he was not able to sail his cutter Britannia at the Cowes Regatta. It was considered most unlikely when his Majesty left Bognor that he would be able to go- out with the guns this autumn.
