OMNIBUS LICENSING
NORTH SHORE SERVICES CONNECTING WITH FERRIES Several alterations to North Shore bus services were sanctioned by the No. 2 Omnibus Licensing Authority, sitting at Devonport last evening. The North Shore Transport Company was granted permission to start its trips from Milford earlier, so as to give passengers more time to board the ferry steamers on arrival. On the same grounds the Cheltenham Motor Bus Company was allowed to advance its times for leaving the Vauxhall terminal by two minutes. An application by Glassy Bros, for a service licence in North Devonport was referred to the Devonport Borough Council to advise on the matter of one-way traffic, which would be necessary, and whether the borough would , permit bus traffic on the roads, some of which have just been formed. Complaints about noisy brakes on North Devonport buses were referred to the inspector for report.
