NICOLA, EMPEROR OF MAGIC

AT ST. JAMES, SEPTEMBER 27 Nicola, who has been acclaimed by the Press overseas as “the world's greatest magician and illusionist.” will be the next attraction at the St. James Theatre. He will appear with his original company of sensational mystifiers for only a short season beginning on Friday. September 27. Nicola will present a gorgeous review of magic and bewildering display of transformations and scientific problems in two acts and ten secnes. In some of the acts Nicola will impersonate the famous conjurers he met on his tour round the world, presenting for the first time some of the feats of the Oriental magicians never before performed outside India and China. The costumes and paraphernalia in these scenes were obtained by Nicola in the countries he visited. The box plan for the Nicola season at the St. James will open on .Monday.
