BIBLE TRAINING

MEETING OF INSTITUTE A meeting of the dii'ectors of the Bible Training Institute was held on Tuesday evening, Mr. R. L. Stewart presiding. During the institute vacation, Mr. C. J. Rolls, dean of the institute, had delivered lectures in Hamilton and New Plymouth, and Mr. J. O. Sanders, the secretary, had lectured in Nelson and surrounding districts. Parties of students had conducted evangelistic missions at Whitianga, Kaikohe, Awanui, Te Kuiti, Taumarunui and Silverdale. The blind evangelist, Mr. Andrew Johnston, had conducted a successful mission in Whangarei, and was at present engaged in a similar effort at the Mount Albert Baptist Church, Miss I. A. Eaves, of Orewa, North Auckland, was accepted as a student for next year. Four graduates of the institute expect to sail from Auckland on October 11 to undertake mission work in Africa.
