PORT ALMA LEAVES SYDNEY WITH 15,000 BALES Reed. 11 a.m. SYDNEY, Today. The wool race has started. The Commonwealth and Dominion liner Port Alma left Sydney early this morning with 15,000 bales for Dunkirk direct. Seven other ships in port will take the new seasons wool from Australia.
