TIMBER MILL BURNT

From Our Own Correspondent TE KUITI, Tuesday. Late on Monday evening, fire broke out in the mill owned by Mr. E* Edkins, at Tapuwae. Spreading rapidly, the whole building was soon enveloped, and as there were few facilities available for coping with the outbreak the mill was totally destroyed. The fire was confined to the mill itself and the yard was not damaged. , The mill was being dismantled, as the j timber rights have been worked out in I that locality.
