ANOTHER CHANCE

r PH E trotter Wild Downs, who * last season was trained and raced by W. Saunders, the Cambridge trainer, is back again under the care of owner Webb, and the black son of Wildwood, Junr., is in work at Claudelands for the Waikato and Northland fixtures. At one part of last season, Wild Downs showed signs of developing into a useful trotter, but he failed to score a victory, although he was always prominent iri his races at New Plymouth and Wanganui. The old gelding has a ®ood turn of speed and if he could be induced to control it correctly, would prove equal to picking up a prize or two where the company is not labelled select.
