SURPRISE PARTY
MUSICAL ITEMS AND DANCING A party of young people paid a surprise visit to Mr. and Mrs. F. H. Williams, at their residence in Mount Royal Avenue, Mount Albert, on Saturday night, and spent a very jolly evening. The rooms were tastefully decorated with huge bowls of French marigolds. X>anaing went with a merry swing, the music being supplied by Miss X. Newman and Miss C. Sherson. During the evening Miss D. Sherson and Miss C. Sherson delighted those present by their singing. Mrs. F. 11. Williams wore a smart frock of fawn and cinnamon silk rep; Miss A. Williams, black velvet and georgette, and Miss O. Williams, blue and rose taffeta. Among the visitors were:—Miss A. Writfit. wearin s apricot georgette; Miss L>. Sherson, soft rose georgette; Miss Nr. Cameron, eau de nil crepe de chine and silver lace; Miss IT. Dee, shell pink crepe do chine; Miss J. Sherson, flame crepe de chine; Miss L. Robinsn, powder blue taffeta and silver lace; Miss M. Warneford, rose lame bdic-e with crepe de chine skirt; Miss X. Newman, saphire blue .lame and georgette; Miss C. Sherson, peach crepe de chine; Miss E. Farmer, cream crepe de chine; Miss T. Williams plum ring velvet; Miss .T. Porter, sunset satin and black tulle; Miss W. James, alice blue lame bodice with crepe de chine skirt; Miss D. Williams, pale pink crepe de chine; Miss M. Hill, shell pink georgette.
