AUCKLAND NOMINEES NORTH V. SOUTH GAME The following players have been selected by the Auckland Rugby Union’s sole selector, Mr. V. R. Meredith, for nomination for the Xorth Island-South Island, trial match at Wellington on Saturday week; Backs. —V. C. Butler, P. C. Minns, W. Lucas and Corner. Forwards. —A. Finlayson, S. Hadley, A. Knight, L. Knight, W. Batty and R. G. McWilliams. Great interest is being taken in this match in view of the visit to New Zealand next winter of a powerful English side. WANGANUI NOMINEES The following Wanganui players have been recommended for the North Island Rugby team:—Kilby and Ball, backs; Oxle3*, forward.
