ART IN CHRISTCHURCH
SITE FOR NEW GALLERY MR. R. E. McDOUGALL’S GIFT CHRISTCHURCH, Monday. The design of the new Christchurch. Art Gallery, the gift of Mr. R. E. McDougall. proprietor of Aulsebrook and Company, was approved today by the Domains Board. The board also granted permission for the erection of the new gallery on the land at present occupied by the caretaker’s residence. This site generally was regarded ao more satisfactory than that originally granted. The new building will be of stone or brick.
