MR. HUGHES COMES OUT INTO THE OPEN NATIONALISTS ASSAILED SYDNEY, Sunday. Mr. W. M. Hughes has at last come out into the open. He says: "I have s been attacked and I will fight to the s last ditch. At the same time they would denounce and excommunicate a man X whose only offence is that he has ” been faithful to his pledges. They are i- buried under the ashes of ignominious failure." t- Mr. Hughes is to open his election 0 campaign on ednesday. Li A Hobart message says that Mr. J. n A. Lyons, Leader of the Opposition d in the Tasmanian State Parliament, a and Mr. A. Guy, deputy-leader, have e resigned in order to become candidates at the Federal Parliamentary elections, in the Labour interest.
