The club’s members are busy each weekend putting the final touches to the lawns and gardens in preparation for the day. THE INDOOR GAME An indoor bowling tournament arranged by the Birkenhead and Northcote United Friendly Societies’ Indoor Bowling Club was played in the Masonic Hall, Northcote, on Saturday afternoon. The president of the Northcote Club, Mr. E. H. Steward, welcomed the visitors from the different lodges. Afternoon tea was served in the supper-room and a most enjoyable afternoon was spent.
