BURIED MONEY
MISSING SUM FOUND IN GARDEN ANONYMOUS INFORMANT (Special to THE SUE) PALMERSTON N., Sunday. The sum of £SSO, ■which mysteriously disappeared, has been found buried in a garden, a letter having been received by the owner telling her where to dig. The woman who lost and recovered the money last week drew £ SSO from the bank for the purpose of paying for a property she had bought. A day or so later she reported to the police that the money had been stolen from a drawer in her bedroom. Nothing more was heard of the affair until yesterday, when the Fellding police received notification that the £BSO had been recovered. They were informed that the lady who had lost the money Lad received an anonymous letter telling her to dig in her garden at a certain spot, and her efforts would be rewarded, and they were.
