FINE ORIENT LINER
ORONTEA MAKES HER FIRST TRIAL CRUISE Australian and N.Z. Press Association) 0 (United Service) Reed. 11 a.m. LONDON, Sunday. The Orontea, the Orient Line’s last and finest 20,000-ton liner for the Australian service, has made her first trial cruise. It is claimed that the vessel’s deck space equals that of any ship on any route. A feature is the unusually generous nature of the third-class accommodation. With the Orontea’s facilities, under ruling rates, it is cheaper to travel than to remain at home.
