Two vacancies have occurred on the board of -directors of the Farmers’ Cooperative Auctioneering Company, Ltd., due to the retirement of two of the founders, Messrs. H. S. Hawkins and J. Barugh. Five nominations have been received for the two vacancies, Messrs. D. Stewart Reid, farmer, Ngahinepouri: H. R. J. Short, agent, Auckland; A. E. Manning, managing director of the “Waikato Times”; Mervyn Wells, farmer and company director, Cambridge; and A- W. Blanchard, retired, Auckland.
