HANS. IPHO MADE THE PRINCESS LAUQH PUZZLEFIND THE KING AND THE OLD WOMAN WHO GAVE HANS THE GOLDEN GOOSE
I love to see the Iceland poppies' golden h eads. Nodding gracefully in the breeze; I love to see the shv f deep purple violets Nestling beneath the trees. I love to smell the scent of freesias at dawn, t And the scent of stock at night: To see the dancing, golden-kirtled daffodils. And the snow-drops, dimly white. I lovo the Oriental scent of carnations. The perfume of mignonette; The lingering fragrance of deep, redpetalled rose-buds, And of primroses, dew-wet. I love the pink-tipped, white-gowned daisies on the lawn. And the larkspur's vivid blue, es, I love the whole, wide, flowerperfumed garden, Tt ith flowers of every line. —Joy Hill, aged 14.
