Annual Venture of St. Andrew’s

Society “A SCRAPE O' THE PEN” There is a distinct flavour about Scottish humour which makes an irresistable appeal to the public. That is why “A Scrape o’ the Pen,” Grahame Moffat’s comedy, should command big houses when it is presented by the St. Andrews Society at the Concert Chamber from September 25 to 28. An excellent cast has been selected and the committee of the society is working hard to make the play a finished production. Last. year “Bunty Pulls the Strings” was presented with great success and this year a more ambitious production has been undertaken. Settings and scenes are being chosen with care. Mr. Kenneth Brampton has been retained to direct the production.
