CATHEDRAL WEDDING
SATIN GOWNS AND SPRING FLOWERS WALLINGFORD—JAMIESON At St. Mary’s Cathedral on Thursday afternoon Miss Kathleen Jamieson, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D. Jamieson, of Paerata, was married to Captain Sydney Wallingford, eldest son of Major and Mrs. J. A. Wallingford, of Mount Roskill. T HE . Rev. Mr. Cowie, of Faerata, performed the wedding ceremony The bride, who was given away by her father, wore an uneven length gown of ivory satin faille bordered with rows of ruched ribbon. A wide satin sash finished the waistline and a spray of ivory and silver flowers was worn on one shoulder. A narrow filet ol orange blossom fastened her veil ol brussels net. and she carried a shower bouquet of white flowers. Miss Alarjorie Jamieson, her attendant maid, was in a frock of chartreuse green satin faille with smartly draped skirt and long closely-fitting sleeves flaring at the wrists. Her soft felt hat was of matching green and she carried golden yellow flowers. Mr. R. Wallingford attended his brother as best man. Later, a reception was held in the no ma i n Tea Kiosk. Mrs. Jamieson reviving the guests in a gown of navv flowered satin with navy coat and hat. Airs. Wallingford also wore a smart navv ensemble.
