Luring the month of July last the company’s dredges treated 507,000 cubic yards for a result of 115 tons of tin oxide. Working costs were .£7,700, and the estimated value of the tin oxide recovered was £14,316. For the year ended March 31, 1929, the company showed a net profit of £115,404. Dividends absorbed £65,250, sundry depreciation was £3,735, and profits prior to incorporation were £6,378 (placed to capital reserve), leaving a balance to be carried i forward of £37,041. The issued capital of the company is £555,000 in 10s shares. Quarterly dividends at the rate of 4d a share have gone the way of shareholders recently, the last being paid out in August. We are not prepared to make any forecast as to the future of the tin market at the moment. At the present market price of 13s 3d, the approximate return on Kuala Kampars. based on the current dividend rate, is £lO Is 3d per cent.
