WANGANUI TRANSPORT
TRAM AND BUS SERVICES CURTAILED PUBLIC DISSATISFIED (From Our Own Correspondent) WANGANUI. Today. The Wanganui City Council has curtailed the tramway and bus services because of the losses which have been incurred, but the losses are still continuing and a special meeting of the council is to be held to consider the matter.
It has been suggested that a commission of inquiry should sit. The public is showing great dissatisfaction with the reduced services and bicycle dealers are benefiting, there being a great demand for second-hand cycles.
