MANY DANCERS ATTEND
St. Thomas’s Hall -was the scene of a successful <ilance on Tuesday evening, when the Ancient Order of Foresters held a party in aid of the earthquake relief fund. I>ance music was supplied by Morrow’s Orchestra, and Bro. TI. Kennerley acted as master of ceremonies. Among- those present were:— , Hawthorn, who wore lilac satin witn black Spanish shawl; Miss Hawkins in mauve crepe de chine; Miss Connor! m a marocain gown; Mrs. Westwood, who wore pink crepe de chine and lace; Miss ■K. iv. Thomson, black ring velvet; Miss .f es * m . turquoise blue georgette with silver trimmings; Miss Ina Gall, wearing black crepe de chine; Miss W. Crook, pink crepe de chine and tulle; Miss M. Corr, who had on lemon satin and tulle; Miss i . nankin, in ivory crepe de chine with uneven hem. Miss J. Sampson, 'Cvho -wore blue ring velvet with diamente buckles; Miss J. Bradley, in gold lame and apricot georgette with uneven hemline; Miss D. .Davis, who chose white georgette over silver lame; Miss A. "Wilson, wearing rose pink georgette over silver lame; Mrs. W. Stewart, who wore leaf-green crepe de chine with silver relief; Mrs. L. Barrett, who chose a gold lace gown: Miss E. Roberts, black ring velvet with uneven hem; Mrs. D. R. Higgs, who w r ore apricot georgette with beaded embroideries; Mrs. Moorhead, wearing blue crepe de chine with shoulder posie; Miss Isabel Moorhead, in a cream crepe de soie gown; Miss Joyce Moorhead, who wore blue repp; Miss A. Sinclair, in green crepe de chine and silver lace.
