THAMES GIRLS’ CLUB The monthly reunion of the Thames Girls’ Club which took the form of a social evening-, was held in the Druids’ Hall. Newton, on Tuesday evening. The president. Mrs. P. McGregor, welcomed ail present and the evening was passed. pleasantly with. musical items and competitions. Those who contributed the musical numbers were Miss V. Hutchinson, Miss Ross and Miss Lees. The winnei*s of the competition were Mrs. Smithyman and. Mr. Angus. Supper was served by a committee headed by Mrs. Stubbing. The singing of Auld Lang Syne’* brought a most enjoyable evening to a close.
