PATUMAHOE TENNIS
At the annual meeting of the Patumahoe Tennis Club on Tuesday evening the following officers were elected for the coming year: Patron, Mr. ‘J. X. Massey, M.P.; vice-patrons, Messrs. R. 55. Brown, a! Parris and Cronin; president, Mr! A. C. Wright; vice-presidents, Mrs. A. Parris and Mr. K. Syme; club captain, Mr. Goldsworthy; secretary and treasurer, Mr. J. Membery; executive committee, Mesdames Bathurst, McMurtrie and Johns, Miss M. Urquhart, and Messrs. R. Henry, R. Brady and T. Turner; grounds committee. Messrs. Syme, Brady, P. Johns and Turner; finance committee, Messrs. Wright, Membery and W. E. Johns; delegates to Franklin Lawn Tennis Association, Messrs. Wright and Membery. It was decided to officially open the club's courts for the season on October
