“DISHONEST SCOUNDREL”
CLERK ROBS TOWN COUNCIL OF £7,400 SEVEN YEARS’ IMPRISONMENT The former town clerk of Tenterfield, R. O’Grady, was today sentenced to seven years’ imprisonment on 10 charges of stealing, forgery and uttering. The funds of the council showed a deficiency of £7,400. The Judge described accused as a dishonest scoundrel.
