SERIOUS MEMBERSHIP DECLINE MORE THAN 1,000,000 IN YEAR (Australian and X.Z. Press Association) (United Service) Reed 11 a.m. LONDON, Wed. The Labour Party’s report records a decline iu membership from 3,293,000 in 1927 to 2,077,000 last year. This is attributed to difficulties, due to the Trades Union Act.
