Women Poisoners
GRIM HUNGARIAN TRIAL
Male Relatives Exhumed
(Australian and N.Z. Press Association) Received 10.7 a.m. BUDAPEST, Wednesday. ATRIAL which is proceeding at Tisza gug reveals wholesale poisoning by women of their husbands and other male relatives.
Numerous exhumations have been ordered in view of the finding of traces of arsenic. It seems that poisoning has become a widely-practised sideline among midwives and nurses in the Tisza Basin. In most cases, the object of the crimes was to secure property. In others, the eternal triangle was apparently the cause.
