CALL TO MINISTER

REMUERA PREACHER FOR PUKEKOHE REV. J. PATTISON ACCEPTS A call from Pukekohe to the Rev. J. Pattison, of ’•“the Somervell Memorial Church, Remuera, was considered by the Auckland Presbytery yesterday. It was agreed to sustain the call and Mr. Pattison intimated his acceptance of it. The call had been signed in three Sundays by 100 members and 25 adherents, said the Rev. J. Hubbard, and was practically unanimous. Pukekohe representatives expressed the eagerness of their congregation to have Mr. Pattison as their minister. Regret at the prospect of losing Mr. Pattison after his 13 years’ ministry was expressed by representative of-fice-bearers of the Somervell congregation. It was decided to hold Mr. Patti - son’s induction on October 1.
