AUCKLAND LADIES The members of the Auckland Ladies’ Golf Club took part in a bogey competition at Middlemore yesterday. Following were the best scores returned:— z Seniors.—Miss C. Moginie, Miss N. MacCormick, Mi* 1,. Robertson, 2 down; Miss N. Noakes, Miss L. Cutfleld, 3 down. Juniors.—Miss M. Russell, Mrs. Finn, 2 down; Miss C. Rainger, 4 down; Mrs. Grant, 5 down. AKARANA LADIES The bogey match played by members of the Akarana Ladies’ Golf Club was Avon by Miss K. Hickman, who finished all square. Other scores were:—Miss P. Feet, 2 down; Miss Smith, 2 down; Miss Jones, 4 down; Miss E. Fearnley, 5 down; Miss Berry, 5 down. The C grade medal competition for August for the best three net scores returned was Avon by Miss E. Pearnlev, 312. Other scores were; —Mrs. Halford, 314; Mrs. Zahara, 320; Mrs. Darrach, 327; Mrs. England, 325. A bogey match played by C grade players resulted in a win for Mrs. Budge, who finished 2 down. Miss Chambers finished 3 down. PUPUKE On Saturday, September 14, members of the Pupuke Golf Club will play a fourball best-ball match for a trophy presented by Mr. E. W. Mills. Members are to choose partners and opponents. MAUNGAKIEKIE LADIES Following are the results of the L.G.U. medal handicap match played by members of the Maungakiekie Ladies’ Golf Club at One Tree Hill yesterday:— Seniors.—Miss K. Horton, 91, 12—79; Mrs. Beattie, 93, 14—79; Mrs. McMillan, 99, 17—82; Miss McCabe, 101, 19—82. Juniors.—Miss Carnachan, 99, 24—75; Mrs. Lloyd, 107. 32—75; Mrs. Norton, Miss Stitt, 112, 36—76; Mrs. Spink.y, 108, 31— 77; Mrs. G. Hardley, 111, 33—75; Miss Ronayne, 113, 35—78; Miss Churton, 100, 2b— 1 9. The best scores returned in the C grade match were:—Mrs. Oxley, 115; Mrs. Dunne, 119 Miss A. Palmer, 121. A C grade match will be held tomorrow, players to choose partners. The second round of the eclectic match will be held on Tuesday next, players to enter with partners. MAUNGAKIEKIE A match between the Maungakiekie and Glendowie Golf Clubs will be played at the Titirangi links on Saturday next. The following players will represent Maungakiekie:—R. M. George, H. A.
