ITALY MAY NOT COMPETE AGAIN FAULT FOUND WITH,RULES (United Service) Reed. 9.14 a.m. LONDON, Monday. 'There is a doubt whether Italy will compete In another Schneider Cup race as the cost is too great,” said Colonel Barnasconi, Italy’s captain. He pointed out that the race’s object was to produce a speedy machine, which object the Schneider Cup con ditions hampered. He urged the eliniination of the navigability tests, as they militated against speed, demanding robustness of construction.
