SHOULD BE READY EARLY NEXT YEAR.—A start has been made on the construction of the new tram-line which will link Point Chevalier with the City. Workmen are seen excavating the centre of the road at the foot of Arch Hill Road in readiness for laying the tracks. It is expected that the new line will be ready for use by next autumn.
