HURT IN COLLISION

(Special to THE SUN) TE PUKE, Today. In a motor-car collision on Saturday at the Kaituna bridge, on the Rotcrua-Te Puke road, Air. R. N. Carpenter, stock manager of the Farmers’ Auctioneering Company, Limited, was badly injured. His car collided with another motor bringing a party of footballers from Whakatane. Mr. Carpenter, who was unconscious when picked up, is suffering from concussion. His injuries were attended to by Dr. McFarlane.
